Many postural problems are caused by <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/how-your-chiropractor-can-help-with-stress\/\">strain and stress in everyday life<\/a>. Although the human body is designed for daily activities like walking and standing, <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/the-truth-about-desk-work-and-back-pain\/\">modern day lifestyles with sedentary desk jobs<\/a> or mobile devices have presented new challenges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/chiropractic-adjustments\/\">chiropractors help free up \u201cstuck\u201d joints<\/a>, your spine and joints will be able to adapt to daily stress more effectively.<br>Don\u2019t get us wrong, bad habits might not be the cause for all your problems, but they can more likely worsen your condition or aggravate your pain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/how-can-a-sports-chiropractor-help-you\/\">Chiropractic care keeps you moving!<\/a> Movement is an important part of staying healthy. After your chiropractic treatments, most people find it easier to move their joints. There are also the <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/what-should-you-do-after-seeing-a-chiropractor\/\">things you can do on your own to help your body stay healthy and promote faster recovery<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Some examples are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase water intake to help reduce inflammation in your body<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Become aware of your <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/can-chiropractors-help-with-scoliosis\/\">body positions and posture<\/a> (pay attention to the way you look at your<br>devices)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not sleeping on your belly as this will create more stress in your neck or pelvis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping up with your prescribed exercises to maintain your flexibility and strength in joints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/does-working-out-improve-posture\/\">Take a 5-minute walk<\/a> after your adjustments to improve your response to chiropractic care<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>There are so much more a chiropractor can help and advise on your health concerns.
