{"id":312,"date":"2022-03-31T14:15:16","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T14:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/?p=312"},"modified":"2022-03-31T14:15:21","modified_gmt":"2022-03-31T14:15:21","slug":"why-does-my-pain-keep-coming-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/why-does-my-pain-keep-coming-back\/","title":{"rendered":"Why Does My Pain Keep Coming Back?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Are you experiencing continuous\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/neck-pain\">neck <\/a>or <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/back-pain\">back pain<\/a> that seems to come and go?\u00a0If so, this is a chronic issue that can be very common as the body likes to adapt to certain <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/how-your-chiropractor-can-help-with-stress\/\">stressors<\/a> put upon it that forces the body to change in a way to avoid pain or further damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The body developing changes occurs over a period of time in small instances. Patterns begin to develop and this can be from injuries in the past, <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/how-can-chiropractors-help-with-posture\/\">poor posture<\/a>, daily activities, work related issues or lack of mobility in an area.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your musculoskeletal system creates new patterns to help decrease pain although in doing so it tightens up and creates stiffness around the spine in turn altering function. This then creates a problem that can cause postural changes and possible acute episodes of pain. As mentioned before many of these issues may be caused by work posture, lifting incorrectly, a <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/what-is-the-best-pillow-for-neck-pain\/\">poor pillow<\/a> or poor sleeping conditions.
