Whilst some of the time it can be tempting to do extra work related chores sometimes it is best to take a break and find yourself some <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/how-your-chiropractor-can-help-with-stress\/\">stress relief<\/a> to combat this stressful environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are some ways in which teachers can relax or even rejuvenate themselves to get through those crazy classroom periods and busy weeks of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enjoy Yourself! \u2014 <\/strong>\u00a0Giving yourself the time to think and relax during the workweek is essential for longevity in any work environment. Having a hobby such as playing netball or tennis or something as simple as watching TV and taking the time to unwind is a great way of having that time to yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking or exercise \u2014<\/strong> Exercise is a great way to get the body moving as well as decreasing tension throughout the body. It is proven that exercise brings up endorphins that give the body those good feelings that people always look  for. Exercise doesn&#8217;t have to be strenuous, as long as it is enjoyable and consistent. Yoga and Pilates is a great way of adding some form of mobility throughout your day and if that is to time consuming a <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/benefits-of-walking-for-musculoskeletal-health\/\">general walk<\/a> goes a long way when it comes to taking a break. The key to all this is as simple as getting the body moving and finding that task or hobby that gets you up and running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sleep<\/strong> <strong>\u2014 <\/strong>Staying up late to finish work or even plan things for the class tomorrow morning is not always ideal. Being sleep deprived can diminish your productivity and limit your capacity to do things throughout the day. The amount of <a href=\"https:\/\/themelbournechiropractor.com.au\/blog\/what-is-the-best-pillow-for-neck-pain\/\">sleep<\/a> you should be having is about 6-8 hours each night in order for the body to recover physically and mentally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deep Breathing<\/strong> <strong>\u2014 <\/strong>Relaxation is key and deep breathing is a great way of achieving this. The aim of this is to take a deep breath in and hold it for 3 seconds and then slowly exhale.
