This injury effects the patella tendon that attaches your patella [knee cap] to the tibial tuberosity of the tibia [shin bone]. The role of the Patella tendon is to transmit the force of the quadriceps muscles as the knee extends<br><br><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/15.0\/1f93e_1f3fd_200d_2642_fe0f\/32.png?w=580&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd3e\ud83c\udffd\u200d\u2642\ufe0f\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\">Symptoms of patella Tendinopathy include pain &amp;
