What We Do With Infants & Children
Our practitioners will assess children's alignment, movement, cranial bone alignment, musculoskeletal conditions, congenital conditions, sleep patterns, behaviour, assess how the neck and pelvis are positioned after birth, crawling and walking (major milestones).
What does Cranial Adjusting Involve?
We aim to stimulate the nervous system and increase blood flow around the cranial bones, to enable better communication between the mind and body.
The Melbourne Chiropractor provides care for children throughout all stages of growth and development. A number of our practitioners have a passion for treating varying paediatric symptoms.
Can Children Develop The Same Spinal Problems As Adults?
If there is a history of spinal problems in your family, your child's spine may not develop properly. Early detection is essential in preventing certain spinal problems developing.
Previously, Spinal Degeneration was viewed as a result of ageing and 'wear and tear'. However, research has recently revealed that there is also a substantial influence of heredity on spinal degeneration. (The Spine Journal, Vol 9, Issue 1, 2009)
